MyLonga TandaBox and TandaBox Transfer
This policy covers the MyLonga TandaBox app for iPhone, the free TandaBox Transfer app for Mac, and this website. It is short because the apps do very little with your data.
What the apps collect
Nothing. Neither app collects, stores, or sends personal data. There is no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no server of our own that your music or your library passes through.
How the apps use the network
TandaBox uses the internet only for App Store purchases, which Apple handles. It uses your local network only to receive files you send from your own Mac with TandaBox Transfer. The transfer goes directly between your two devices on the same Wi-Fi; nothing is uploaded anywhere.
TandaBox Transfer uses the internet in one place: when you choose Check for Updates, it reads a small version file from this website. Like any web request, this shows our web host your IP address in its standard server logs. No other information is sent, and the app does not check on its own.
Your music and your tandas
Audio files you import, the tandas you build, your settings, and the history of your nights are stored on your device only. Your tandas, settings and history are included in your iCloud device backup if you have backups enabled; that backup is managed by Apple under Apple’s terms, not by us. Imported audio files are not included in that backup.
Purchases
The trial and all purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no personal details from a purchase. Apple’s privacy policy applies to that transaction.
Future features
If a later version adds an optional service that sends data off the device (for example Last.fm scrobbling), it will be off by default, clearly labeled, and this policy will be updated before it ships.
This website
This website uses Jetpack Stats, Automattic’s privacy-focused visitor counter, to tell us whether pages are being read. It counts page views and referring sites and estimates an approximate location from your IP address. It does not build advertising profiles or identify individual visitors, and the site shows no ads. Our web host keeps short technical server logs for security; we do not use them to profile visitors. The apps themselves contain no analytics.
