MyLonga TandaBox (“TandaBox”) is developed by Yüksel Şişe, an independent developer based in Istanbul. This policy covers the TandaBox iPhone app, the free TandaBox for Mac, and this website.

The apps

TandaBox for iPhone and TandaBox for Mac are designed to work entirely on your own devices:

• No account. There is nothing to sign up for and no login of any kind.
• No backend. The apps have no server. Your music files, your library, your tandas, your playlists, and your listening habits stay on your device.
• No analytics, no tracking, no ads. The apps contain no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Nothing about your usage is measured or transmitted.
• Local-only transfer. When you send music from TandaBox for Mac to your iPhone, files travel directly between your two devices over your local Wi-Fi network. They never pass through a server, because there isn’t one.

This is why TandaBox carries the App Store privacy label “Data Not Collected.”

Purchases

Optional one-time purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to the transaction itself.

This website

This website uses Jetpack Stats, Automattic’s privacy-focused visitor counter, for one reason: to see whether pages are being visited at all. It counts page views and referrers, and derives an approximate location from the visitor’s IP address. It does not build advertising profiles, and nothing it records is used to identify an individual visitor. The site itself carries no advertising. The apps contain no analytics of any kind — this paragraph is about the website only. Like virtually every website, the hosting infrastructure it runs on keeps standard, short-lived technical server logs (such as IP addresses of requests) for security and operational purposes; we do not use these to identify or profile visitors.

Future features

If a future version of TandaBox ever offers an optional connection to a third-party service (for example, scrobbling your plays to a music service), it will be strictly opt-in, clearly labeled in the app, and described in an updated version of this policy before it ships.

Children

TandaBox is not directed at children. The apps collect no data from anyone, children included, and the website’s page counting is never used to identify a visitor of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
