What it does

TandaBox keeps the night you planned on your phone. Transfer is how that selection gets there from the archive on your Mac: you choose what to send, your iPhone asks you to approve, and the files go straight from one device to the other. Nothing passes through a server, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.

You can still use Files or AirDrop if you prefer.

Today Transfer carries tracks; you build your tandas in TandaBox. When MyLonga Studio arrives, Transfer will carry whole tandas from it as well.

Install

1. Open the downloaded TandaBoxTransfer-1.0.0.dmg.
2. Drag TandaBox Transfer to your Applications folder.
3. Open it. It lives in the menu bar, not in the Dock.

Send your first selection

1. On your iPhone, open TandaBox and go to Import › Transfer from Mac. Stay on that screen while the transfer runs.
2. On your Mac, click the TandaBox Transfer icon in the menu bar and choose New Transfer…
3. Choose what to send, then pick your iPhone from the list.
4. Approve the transfer on your iPhone. The tracks arrive in your library.

Both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. The first time, macOS and iOS ask for local network permission; Transfer needs it to find your iPhone.

Updates

Choose Check for Updates… from the menu. If a newer version exists, Transfer opens its download link; it never updates itself and never checks on its own.
